Meet the FLIP Holosun 509 Adapter

By popular request, we created a simple way to mount Holosun 509 series red dots to mounts that use the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint.

We originally developed this adapter for use with our standard and XL O.F.F. Mounts, but designed it to work with other compatible T1/T2 footprint mounts as well. Whether you are building a Dual Optic Stack or using the 509 as a standalone rifle optic, the adapter gives you more flexibility without requiring a dedicated mount.

Why an Adapter Plate?

• More Optic Options: Use a Holosun 509 series enclosed red dot with compatible mounts designed around the T1/T2 footprint.
• Works Beyond the O.F.F. Mount: While the adapter was developed for our mounting system, it can also be used with other compatible T1/T2 footprint mounts.

Installation Notes

• Mount geometry and available thread depth can vary between manufacturers. Both 4 mm and 5 mm screws are included to accommodate different compatible mounts.
• Always confirm that the selected screws provide adequate thread engagement without bottoming out or interfering with the mount.
• Follow the optic and mount manufacturers' torque recommendations. Do not overtighten.
• For best results, we recommend using Blue Loctite (medium-strength, removable) or Vibra-Tite VC-3 on adapted screws.
