Meet the FLIP Mini-14 Red Dot Mount

Ever wanted a lightweight, low-profile red dot setup for your Mini-14 that feels like it actually belongs on the rifle?

That was the goal behind our Mini-14 Red Dot Mount. It places a modern red dot naturally over the action while keeping the setup simple, compact, and true to the streamlined character of the Mini-14.

A line-of-sight passage through the mount also keeps the factory iron sights available as a backup.

Compatibility*

Optics

Compatible with most red dots using the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 mounting footprint.

Note: Because the optic must be attached to the mount before the mount is installed on the rifle, some longer or unusually shaped T1/T2 footprint optics may not provide sufficient access for installation.

Mini-14 Variants

Designed for modern Mini-14 receivers equipped with the factory top mounting holes used by the factory-provided Picatinny rail. If you're unsure whether your Mini-14 is compatible, contact us before ordering.

California Customers

Given new legislation, the FLIP Defense Team is currently only offering products for sale to our California customers that do not meet the definition of  "firearm accessories" as outlined in AB1263 until we can determine a way ahead to implement the new requirements identified in the law. As a small family company, this may take us some time, so we appreciate your patience as we work to understand a viable way for us to implement the new requirements to resume shipping options for certain products. 

Given that optics mounts are NOT included in the definition of regulated "firearm accessories" in AB1263, we will continue to offer them to our California customers at present. That being said, to be abundantly clear, we will require that all customers read and acknowledge the legal notice below prior to purchasing any FLIP DEFENSE product, regardless of type or customer shipping address.

California customers
It is generally a crime to engage in any of the following conduct without a valid license to manufacture firearms:

• Manufacturing more than three firearms per calendar year in California.
• Manufacturing a firearm using a three-dimensional printer or CNC milling machine.
