Pistol Dot Adapter

While we build our O.F.F. Mount primarily with purpose-build rifle optics in mind, we have been getting requests for a version of our mount that is compatible with pistol dots such as the RMR, so we have been hard at work to develop a solution to cater to those who would prefer a traditional "top mount" pistol red dot for their optic stack. 

Why an adapter plate?
We chose to go with an adapter plate for two main reasons:

1.  Secure attachment.  Our O.F.F. mount is made out of high-strength 6061 Aluminum, which is perfect for rifle dots that are designed and intended to attach to aluminum mounts.  However, pistol dots are designed to thread directly into pistol slides, which are made out of steel.  A steel adapter plate system allows us to maintain the integrity of the mounting design for which pistol dots were intended.

2. Versatility.  We are a solutions-oriented company, and believe in putting the customer first.  An adapter allows you to mount your pistol dot to any micro (T1 / T2) mount.  While we would love for everyone to enjoy the exclusive benefits of our patent pending FLIP OFF Mount, we understand that everyone has their own preferences. While we are the only red dot mount on the market that's purpose-built for use with powered micro prism optics, there are many great micro red dot (T1/T2) mounts available for other applications, while certainly fewer options for mounting pistol dots to a rifle or AR15 pistol.  So, whether you plan to use your pistol dot with a powered micro prism, or have something else in mind, we wanted to make sure to deliver a product that allows you to build the best setup for you.

How can I get one?
